Our fully-immersive, science-based programs combine nutrient dense meals with a real life, personal coach to help you in those harder moments to quit the dependency to sugar and crap. We do the heavy lifting in the kitchen. Our culinary team consists of award-winning chefs from the Natural Gourmet Institute who collaborate with our in-house dietitians to ensure every meal is balanced and delicious. You have called Euphebe the modern-day healthcare, what does that mean?

Healthcare costs are crippling our healthcare system. About 80% of today’s annual healthcare spend is on the management of chronic disease. That’s about $2.8 trillion per year. Up to $1.9 trillion dollars of that spend is attributable to the impact today’s modern diet has on our health, leading ultimately to chronic disease conditions ranging from fatigue, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and all the way through to some forms of cancer.

At Euphebe, we believe people have the right to feel good and not be sick from our modern food system. By eating real, whole, unprocessed food we are restoring our health, reversing and preventing chronic disease. As our healthcare system becomes more and more crippled by the escalating cost of chronic disease, prevention and reversal is the new cure. Euphebe is modern day healthcare. We give people the tools to break free of the dependency to processed food, thereby restoring their health. It is the cheapest and original form of health insurance!

We work with a network of physicians (cardiologists, endocrinologists, etc.) who “prescribe” Euphebe to reverse disease. We are at the forefront of the “Food As Medicine” movement. Working with those physicians, we collect blood work pre- and post- Euphebe. In terms of results, Euphebe’s 28-day ReBoot program considerably lowers LDL cholesterol and hemoglobin A1C, rivaling the effects of prescription medications (i.e., statins and metformin) without the negative side effects – unless you consider excess weight loss to be a negative!  We believe that healthcare should involve food on prescription. We empower our clients to take back control over food and their health to restore, what we call, “foundational health." This is modern day healthcare.

What are the benefits of incorporating a whole food, plant based diet?

Improvements in internal health (lipid profile, inflammatory markers, hormonal responses). Increased energy. Weight loss. Loss of visceral fat (the dangerous fat around the middle). Improved mood. Longevity.

A healthy, plant based diet, filled with a variety of whole grains, vegetables, fruits, beans, nuts, seeds, herbs, and spices, and with reduced added sugar is the basis of defense against chronic disease. These foods contain the dietary fiber and nutrients that our bodies need to thrive; they promote health and longevity by lowering LDL cholesterol, blood sugar, insulin production, and inflammation. Providing the body with the nutrition it needs allows the brain and the body to do the hard work to heal itself. With less insulin (fat storage hormone) and ghrelin (hunger hormone), and more leptin (satiety hormone) and serotonin (feel good hormone), the body’s biochemistry takes over to drive the healthiest behaviors. The improvements in internal health lead to the often sought after external results, including weight loss (especially around the middle). Increased energy, focus, attention span, and mood are additional positive side effects.

Unfortunately, the Standard American Diet consists mainly of energy dense foods instead of nutrient dense ones. Energy dense foods provide calories, but little nutrition. This leaves our cells starving for nutrients and causes our hormonal responses to drive unhealthy behaviors. We have identified this as the “Crappy Food Cycle.” Our program enables our clients to transition to a nutrient dense diet, to kick the addiction to sugar, and to experience the benefits of the “Real Food Cycle.”

On average, after 28 days of Euphebe, our clients lose 8.9 pounds, reduce their elevated LDL cholesterol by 41 points, reduce their hemoglobin A1C by 0.91 percentage points, and their inflammation (as measured by high sensitivity C-reactive protein) by 1.2 points.

How does the Euphebe program work?

Clients come to Euphebe mainly from two channels. First, physicians (i.e., cardiologists, endocrinologists, internists, and oncologists) and dietitians refer their patients to us. These practitioners use Euphebe as a tool to help their patients achieve their health goals, whether that be to lower elevated LDL cholesterol, hemoglobin A1C (a measure of average blood sugar levels), or inflammation, or to lose weight. Our program has helped many clients avoid or reduce their need for prescription medications, including cholesterol, blood sugar, and high blood pressure medications. Second, we have clients come to us directly. These clients may also have those same health related goals, or they want a program to help them restore healthy habits, lose some weight, increase their energy, and overall, help them to feel better. We also have clients who already eat mostly plant based and are attracted to the ease and convenience of Euphebe.

Either way, once clients sign up, they receive a weekly delivery of 6 lunches and 6 dinners that are nutrient dense, delicious, and fully prepared. They also gain access to Coach Euphebe, who is a real live person, available 24/7.

So if I am new to Euphebe, how do I chose the best program for me? What weekly menu should I start with?

Here is the overview of the two program options available for new clients: the signature 28-day ReBoot and the 7-day Mini Boot. The ReBoot is designed to reboot your body. If you feel sluggish, are hanging onto extra weight around the middle, or want to foster healthier habits, the full ReBoot is the best choice. This program is also ideal if you have diabetes, pre-diabetes, high cholesterol, and/or high inflammation. It is after completing the full 28-day program that we see the best results, including weight loss, and decreased LDL cholesterol, blood sugar, and inflammation.  

Some of our clients prefer to start with the 7-day Mini Boot program, which is designed as an introduction to the full program. After trying Euphebe for one week, many then continue to complete the full ReBoot program.

The weekly menus are pre-set. Our chefs and dietitians ensure that the menu meets certain nutritional parameters with maximize variety. We introduce our clients to Euphebe with our pre-set menus so that they can try all our offerings and avoid decision fatigue. Especially for those who are not used to eating in this way, we want to introduce the new and exciting flavors and meals. We can accommodate certain allergies and food aversions!

After completing the full ReBoot or the Mini Boot, you will become a Euphebe graduate. Our graduates can continue to order our pre-set menu on a subscription basis (weekly, bimonthly, once a month) or they can order the a la carte box and choose their meals.

So the meals come frozen? How long do they last?

Our meals are made fresh in our kitchen in Brooklyn and then are frozen to preserve nutrient quality, to reduce food waste, and for client convenience. If stored properly in the freezer, our meals can easily last three to six months. After thawed, we recommend consuming our meals within 4 days.

How easy are the meals to prepare? How long does it take?

VERY easy! We recommend storing 3 days’ worth of meals in the refrigerator to thaw. Once thawed, they take only 2-3 minutes to prepare in the microwave! You can heat our meals in the microwave, on the stove, or in the oven. Our heating instructions come with a Chef’s recommendation for the reheating method that yields maximum quality. If heating from frozen, it takes a bit longer- about 15 minutes.

We saw on your website that you have a pretty cool app. Can you tell us more about Coach Euphebe?

The Euphebe App has really been a labor of love. It contains resources for our clients and serves as a platform for delivering our coaching content and Coach Euphebe-client interaction.

Our clients’ success stems equally from our delicious, nutritious meals as from our coaching. We recognize that behavior change does not happen overnight. Euphebe is a lifestyle intervention program based in behavior change science. Our aim is not to have you only succeed for 28 days- we want the healthy habits that you acquire to last a lifetime. This is why Coach Euphebe is the key to success. We provide education so that our clients understand what foods and habits support good health and then we provide the support to enable them to change their habits, for good. Coach Euphebe is available 24/7 to answer the little questions like “how do I reheat my food?” and the bigger questions like “it’s ten o’clock at night and I’m staring at the ice cream, what should I do?” Coach E. has your back and is there to keep you “on the wagon.”

Since Euphebe supplies lunch and dinner for every day, what do you recommend to get your day off to a great start?

Coach Euphebe is there every step of the Euphebe journey to provide breakfast, snack, and side salad suggestions. For breakfast, we advocate combining complex carbohydrates (whole grains) and plant based protein for energy and satiety. Examples include overnight oats, avocado or almond butter toast (Ezekiel whole wheat sprouted toast!), and veggie heavy smoothies. We provide clients with Euphebe approved recipes that they can whip up in 5 minutes. You can add BIOHM super greens to any of our smoothie recipes!

If you had to pick one, what is your favorite Euphebe meal?
